There are several ways to participate, advertise, sponsor with DNA of Commerce.   As an individual, you may subscribe to Image Driven Magazine; published by the DNA of Commerce.  We encourage you to submit photos and stories to the editor.  You may also place classified ads for your product or services in the Classified Ads Section of the magazine.  As a Business, you may advertise using the DNA of Commerce as your advertising agency; and reach the listening audience on Sirius Satellite Radio Show "The Loading
Dock Trucking Morning Show" with host Mark Willis. Also, you may reach the listening audience on Midnight Trucking Radio Network; simulcast on XM Radio. 

You may advertise with display ads in the Image Driven Magazine; Trucking's Most Important Lifestyle Network Magazine.

You may Advertise through the DNA of Commerce Ad Agency with a Radio Advertising Campaign, or you may Advertise for Company and Independent Contractor Truck Drivers.   Also, you may become a Corporate Sponsor for DNA of Commerce Training Scholarships for students attending an approved truck driver training program.

Commission and Cash Discount :

A 15%  Ad Agency commission will be allowed only when complete ad copy is provided and Ad Agency receives prior approval by the DNA of Commerce.



General:

a. Billing date is issue mailing date.
b. Fraudulent or misleading advertising not accepted.
c. Advertising which criticizes competing sales systems not accepted.
d. Publisher may reject certain product or service advertising.
e. Publisher may label editorial-style copy with the word “Advertisement.”
f. All contract advertising will be billed at the rate in effect when contract was initiated.
g. It is understood and agreed that all orders must conform with the conditions set forth in this rate card, and that we reserve the right to eliminate from all orders any clauses which do not comply.
h. Orders accepted subject to approval of copy.

Classified Ad

For subscribers of Image Driven Magazine: $22.00 US minimum (up to 20 words); additional cost of $1.10 each word. 

For non-subscribers of Image Driven Magazine: $44.00 U.S. (up to 20 words); additional words, $1.10 each.

Count identifying information as part of Classified Ad for purposes of calculating Ad rate, including your name, address, email address, and phone and facsimile numbers.   Please include zip codes for mailing addresses.

ADVERTISER agrees to comply with all specifications set forth in specifications and mechanical requirements for the Image Driven Magazine and PUBLISHER.

Specifications

The preferred file format is PDF.  Files must be composite CMYK and have all fonts and images embedded.  Any layers and transparencies should be flattened.  All color management and OPI comments should not be included and PDFs should be untrapped.  PDF files must be in an Adobe Acrobat Distiller version 4.0 or higher.  PDFs must be written from distilled postscript files and not directly out of the native application.  PDFs that are written directly from an application rather than distilled are much more unstable and may cause unpredictable results.  PDF files under 300 dpi and created for Web and FPO work are not high resolutions and are not acceptable. 

Ads must be set up for 4/C process printing.   All images must be set to CMYK and at a high resolution (300dpi for CMYK and grayscale images and 600 dpi for line art.)  Images should be placed at 100% to ensure better reproduction.   RGB files may be acceptable.

A high-end digital color proof is required for all 4/C Ads.  The proof must meet SWOP standards for a color-managed and maintained calibrated proofing system and must be printed from the supplied file.  Acceptable proofs include contract-quality Kodak, Iris, Veris, Match print or Chromatin proofs.  A laser is required for all B/W Ads.  All proofs must be provided at 100% with trim and bleed marks (1/8 inch beyond crop marks) indicated where applicable.  For more information on SWOP approved proofing systems visit www.swop.org.

Total dot-density should not exceed 3-5 in four colors.

Two-color dot density should not exceed 180%, with one color solid.

SWOP standards apply.

PUBLISHER assumes no liability for errors or color variations between the digital file and the printed image if: 1) a high-end proof is not provided; 2) the file must be converted to CMYK; or 3) any of the published digital specifications are not met.   ADVERTISER is responsible for providing materials meeting Image Driven Magazine specifications.  PUBLISHER is not responsible for making corrections to supplied materials.

Materials will be stored for 6 months and then destroyed unless otherwise advised in writing by ADVERTISER.  Disks will not be returned unless otherwise requested by ADVERTISER in writing.

Publication printed offset.
Binding method: saddle stitched.
Special positions other than inside front (cover 2), inside back (cover 3) and back cover (cover 4) not guaranteed.
Split runs and copy changes not available.
Inserts not accepted.
